2025 AFC Conference at Tannehill State Historic Park, September 5-7, 2025.
In addition to the featured demonstrators,John Perilloux of Louisiana, and Doc Schertz of Illinois there will be green coal beginner classes and family programs; Iron Art Auction; Show and Tell displays; Iron-In-The-Hat Drawings; Tool Box Drawing.
Musicians bring instruments for evening jam sessions and Tailgate Sales in designated areas.

Justin Cooley of the Southwest Alabama Forge Group will demonstrate on Sunday morning.

Green Coal classes will be taught by members of the Alabama Knifemaker's guild

 

The Athens Forge 2025 Toolbox has been completed but is in serious need of tools before the Tannehill conference. Please consider making or donating items for the box. Items can be brought to the August 23, 2025 Athens Forge meeting or to the conference.

 

Athens Forge and the Alabama Custom Knifemaker's Guild will hold a joint meeting on December 20th, 2025. There will be a short demo, Iron In The Hat, and lunch.
